Week 1 is in the books, Pawtucket! 
What a way to begin the 2026–2027 school year!
Across Pawtucket, our schools came back to life this week with students reconnecting with friends, teachers welcoming new faces, families sending their children through our doors, and our incredible staff doing what they do best: creating places where students can learn, grow, belong, and thrive.
These moments are just a glimpse of what we saw across our schools during an exciting first week. From our youngest learners beginning a brand-new journey to our seniors starting their final year with us, there is so much possibility ahead.
Thank you to our students, families, educators, staff, administrators, community partners, and everyone who helped make the opening of school a special one. A strong school year is built together, and we are excited about where we are headed.
