MMS Web Portals 2.6 is a major enhancement release that most significantly includes:

New attachments functionality for the teacher grade book assignments and lessons.  Once enabled by the administrator, teachers may attach documents to assignments in the gradebook.  The administrator controls what type of attachments are allowed, how many attachments per assignment, and the administrator may place limitations on the maximum file size of those attachments. Parents and students may view and download those attachments through the "All Assignments Due" and "All Missing Assignments" tabs of their respective portals.

New teacher operation to copy assignments between classes, marking periods, and years.  Suppose a class offered once per semester has similar assignments each time it is offered. The teacher can use this operation to copy the configuration of those assignments to each semester offering of that course.

New teacher operation to transfer grades between classes. For example, if a student switches between two classes taught by the same teacher, the teacher may transfer the assignment grades from one class to another through the grade book.

What's in it?

We've converted all the grids used in the Teacher and Staff Portals to expand support for more browsers, such as Safari and Google Chrome.  With this version, these portals will support the same browsers as the Student and Parent Portal.
A new Teacher Toolbar will be introduced to simplify the interface and provide optional read-only access to prior year's classes.
